Boot zip repair - recommendations pls!

Morning all!

After nearly 9yrs service, it's time for me to get the zips replaced on my comp boots.. (had to tape the left boot up for my lesson last Sat!!) Typical as I am now out competing for the next 4 weekends!!

I'm based in Hants, can any one recommend places that can do this pls? And quick too?

Has anyone had their zips replaced by Calcutts (Sutton Scotney)?

Any local cobbler should be able to do them - mine does them and charges £25. When this topic has come up before, quite a few people have recommded motorbike shops!

I have just had a Brogini zip replaced by Timpsons. £35 per boot. Good quality zip and very neat stitching. They send it back to their HQ so you get it done by people who are doing it all day long. My local saddler quoted £50 per boot.
