Boots - a lesson needed please!?

Tendon boots only cover the rear of the leg. Brushing boots cover the whole leg.

Flat bit at top and contoured bit at bottom. Ties, flaps or straps should be on outside facing backwards.......generally.
 
And tendon boots sometimes have a hard protective bit around the tendons, whereas brushing boots are usually just the neoprene bit and the plastic protective bit.
