boots and wraps out hunting!!1

My mare is prone to hitting herself with her legs and causing cuts, grazes wen out hunting

and really gives her tendon and fetlock boots a bashing. Would it be extra protection to put banadages on and then boots over them

?? what are your views on what i should do

?? i want her to be safe and comfy

cant afford any expensive boots!!!

My mare has nice thick feathers so I dont need anything!!

I have heard that you need to be careful in case mud gets inside the boots, as that will rub even more after a days hunting!

Ok, so do you think bandages under these would prevent the mud reaching the skin?? some people say that their legs can over heet, but i see many people with bandages under boots out hutning and wondering if it is beneficial?

I used to use protec medicine type boots on the front and good on wood wear on the back, worked fine for me, never had a rub and I was sure that Murphy's legs were protected.
