Hi folks
Just a question out of interest. My mare is a gypsy cob x WB. She doesn't have very heavy bone but does have some feather. I don't really use boots on her at the moment but she is only 4 and I am planning to do a bit more with her this year. I am wondering about getting support boots for her for when I am schooling for 2 reasons. The sand school at the yard is quite deep and she had a mystery 6 week lameness and I am sure there was a tiny bit of swelling on the inside of her hind fetlock. So think it might be sensible to give her some support when I increase her schooling.
I really like the look of the premiere equine sports boots to give tendon, fetlock and suspension support. Is this a bit of overkill? Also, I wonder how they will fit over feathers??
Any comments/suggestions??
Thanks
