Hi, was wondering what boots everyone uses for cross country.

Going to be starting cross country schooling when I go to riding club camp - and it is something I want to do on a regular basis once I get going (got my horse at the end of October). She is 16.1hh TBxID.

I quite like the look of the Tri-Zone Allsports or the Premier Equine ones - anyone got experience of these?

Thank you! :)

I have Premier Equine air cooled ones and prolite ones. Both are good :) Only bough the PE ones cos were on sale and I can't resist a bargain, even thou I already had a set!!

I have PE ones and use them for hacking as well as xc. They have lasted well and always wash up nicely and if you wait untill the sale then you can get them much cheaper. They were also one of the only companies that did them small enough to fit my boys stupidly little legs.

Reg has Dalmar and they're really good, his legs never get hot in them and they offer really good protection.

I use Premier Equine air cooled boots, they are in regular use for xc & sj, being used on several different horses, they do help keep legs cooler, very lightweight and easily cleaned.

Thank you for the replies.

Had a look on the PE website and found the ones on sale!

From what everyone has said (about them coming up big) she might be a medium - think I will email them some measurements for advice!

Thanks again!
