I am heading to a ODE next month, I haven’t done one in years and it’s pony’s 1st ever one. Sticking at 70cm until she’s a bit bolder xc. She has a very careful jump though.
Last time I did XC there were no fancy boots it was Woolf type brushing taped on with insulation tape!
I have some lovely brushing boots for SJ but they are wool lined and worried they will be too heavy after going through water.
If I go buy a pair, what do I need? Or do I just not clip her legs Welsh type and leave feathers on not worry about boots?

My advice would be to buy the air cooled ones. They are Premier Equine, they allow airflow through the tendons and stop legs from overheating.

For low level stuff the trizone all sports are perfect. I use them on most young horses to hack/school/canter/Xc school etc
