Just the little laces, on front off ankle? That's what I wear all the time out hunting as do alot off our ladies. They may not be tradtionally correct but are fine! If you are new to hunting or not that regular I would give the sec a ring but as long as your are neat and tidy then 'correct' turnout is not that essential at first. I actually once went out the season just gone in my tretorn showjumping boots, as had totally forgetten to put my hunting boots in the car, (was riding someone elses pony) and I wasn't stopped from hunting or anything, I should know better as well! But I did apologise to the master when I got there, the alternative was welly boots so at least I basically smart and safe. Still got some time before the riding part of this season starts tho.

I'm the Secretary of our local pack and I wear boots with laces - the only things I can find that fit my odd shaped legs! I do have a made to measure pair, but they don't fit :-(
