Boots for long, slim legs?

Can anyone recommend some boots that I can use of the yard etc. that fit really long slim legs? Looking for leather boots like Ariat, Dublin, Toggi etc.
I've spent all day at Burghley trying on every type of boot I can find but they are all too wide :( I'm a size 6 so its not even like I have unusual shaped feet, but all the boots are too wide around the calf.
Looking to spend around the £100 - £150 mark, but the only ones that remotely fit are at least £250 - £300 :mad:
So I was wondering if anyone could recommend any brands/makes that are good for a slim fit or am I going to have to start saving up a bit more! :rolleyes:
I'd be very grateful for any recommendations or links :D

I don't even bother trying to find yard boots to fit! I need 51cm tall and 33cm calf so nearly impossible!

I ended up with woof wear long yard boots with the adjustable calfs but they aren't exactly summer wear but don't get too hot although they aren't riding ones.

For my leather boots I have MH supreme high riders in long narrow which fit perfectly although when looking MH said they don't sell these in the UK anymore as nobody fits them!

The ariats didn't fit me either! Too wide and short!

Are you looking for long Leather for riding/yard work??
 
I have ariat grasmeres for day to day and if I pull the laces as tight as they'll go they fit, for best I have ariat field boots in narrow and they fit ok.
Unfortunately the choice is limited at the cheaper End of the market.
 
For riding boots I recommend Brogini Roma, £175 in a huge range of sizes. Have a look on their own website.
 
Unfortunately my daughter has this problem......not like her mother who is short and round!

The only boots she found that fitted were the Sergio Grassi ones as Italians seem to do the narrow fit -they were horribly expensive tho'. For yard boots she uses the Dublin ones with the tie tops - cheap, but they do gape on her and we haven't been impressed with the quality - bought at Burghley last year, she now needs a new pair (allegedly) :p

I think we must have similar sized legs! :D I've just measured mine and my calfs are 31cm wide at the widest point. To be honest I don't care how long they are, I just want them to fit around my calf! :(
Yes looking for boots mainly for yard work, trooping round horse shows, p2p's in winter etc. Would love to have some that I could ride in as well but not essential as I bought some new 'riding boots' a couple of months ago.

That's the conclusion I'm coming to! Although then again the boots are going to get covered in mud and god knows what else so even £100 doesn't seem that cheap! :rolleyes:


Where is the best place to buy these boots do you think? - at shows like Burghley etc. or at local tack shops, or online?

Yep tried Dublin ones...FAR too big! Really looking for yard boots so the Sergio Grassi ones are a bit too nice to get covered in mud! :D
 
Ariat grassmeres on eBay for 180. The seller has the old colour cheaper but none in a 6, but he does have the new ones in a 6. They weren't listed but I emailed and asked. ;)
