H snapped a toe nail in Oct and had to have it covered for a month to be out the house. Was a nightmare and I tried all sorts of soft boots that PAH and other pet shops sold, plus drip bags the vets gave me. Some lasted a couple of days, but they just fell apart and certainly never stayed on unless he was just walking on the lead and even then they slipped down and we were forever stopping and pulling them up.
Week before last a crack that was growing out resplit (grr!) and he ended up on 3 legs and back at the vets. He quickly trashed any boots we had that were in any way usuable. I went on the internet and came across these

THEY ARE BRILLIANT!!! He's had them for several days now and there are no signs of wear on them (he'd have destroyed the other types we had been able to get before) and most importantly they haven't shifted a mm!!! This afternoon we are going to take him up the yard and allow a controlled hoon to see what happens, but I'm quite certain that it will stay on. They are so well designed (apparently designed for service dogs that may have to walk over glass etc)
Anyway, thought I'd share my find.
