Hi everyone,
Just musing really. I've mainly been a happy hacker with my girl for the past 8 years or so. I am now looking at improving the pair of us, plan to do more schooling and have some lessons (with the view to doing a bit of dressage eventually). My question is, should I be looking at getting some kind of boots for my mare's legs. She doesn't have any conformation faults which would cause her to brush etc. (as far as I can tell, though she's not done it yet). However is it common practice to boot for schooling? I don't want to stick extra tack on her unnecessarily but I am intrigued. We will also be doing more hacking as well (including hopefully some long distance pleasure rides) so anything which does both jobs would help.
Thanks in advance
