I've recently bought a Thoroughbred and he's very much of the long and skinny legged variety! I'm hoping to take him out to do some fun rides and XC schooling and stuff like that soon so will need to get him some suitable boots to wear. Are there are particular brands that people have found to fit well please? Bonus points if they're also of a nice material as he's fairly sensitive skinned so no doubt will rub easily.

Thanks.

I've got premier equine boots which work well but if you're inbetweem sizes go down, they work well for xc where I want full protection. I also equilibrium trizone which are a nice lightweight boot for all round use.

I bought some PE xc boots fir my chunky tb. They kept spinning round. Woof wear club boots are good. I've just bought him some Arma carbon xc boots. They fit well and don't spin.

I had a problem with the PE boots spinning round as well, but the horse was one who did bash his fronts together.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will have a look at all of these. I do have some PE boots which I mean to try on but haven't yet but I don't think they'll fit very well so it doesn't surprise me to hear about them spinning. Will have a look at the other suggestions and see how we get on though.
