New ex-racer has a set of brushing boots for flatwork but I would like something more substantial for fastwork and jumping.

The problem we have is FS boots fit him around his leg but are usually about 1.5inch too short for him.
We have looked at tendon boots, really like Premier Equine, what is the fit like on them?
Don't want to go near Dalmar after hearing horror stories about them?

So any ideas? :)

Double choc chip muffins on offer :)

Reg is in Dalmars and we only have good things to say about them- they offer brilliant protection and don't rub, which is pretty much a miracle. His legs are also always cool coming back off XC no matter how hard or fast the run. We heard horror stories and went for it anyway and they have been brilliant.

How big is your tb and which size did you use? :)

16.2 - that gives you an idea of his legs

I got medium for the front and large behind but they were the old model air cooled ones which I got in the sale.

Wilby has premier equine ones, and they've never rubbed him and fit really well lengthwise. He's 15.2hh and has a small infront and a medium behind (but he is rather long from fetlock to hock behind, more like the length you would get on a 16-16.2hh!) and only has quite spindly legs.

The only bad thing I will say about them is that if they are not on *absolutely perfectly* mine twist slightly, so I don't trust anyone else to put them on.
