I am still on the hunt for a pair of boots to fit my wide calves.

I dont like the look of fuller fillies, and need something smart as i plan to use them for low level showing as well as dressage.

I am a UK size 5, and have a calf of 40cm, so would need 41cm+ I'd say?

I cant find anything online to fit those dimensions other than super expensive Dressage boots.

My Budget is $150 (pounds), as I will need to pay postage and tax when they arrive to me in NZ.

Can anyone recommend a brand/style in that size option and budget? I will be eternally grateful!

Get the pair you like and have them stretched. That's what I did; I used a company in the U.K. That does it via free post, but a decent cobbler should be able to do it for you? Obviously this will only work on a leather pair!

Thats a lot of stretching! LOL I could get elastic put in some I suppose?

Where they definitely one of the wide/plus boots? The calf width is really generous, much wider than your 41cm. Have you been sent the wrong boots maybe?
The "Plus" boots go up to 43.1cm and the "Wide" go up to 48.2cm calf width.

I actually just bought some. ******* it, you only live once. Plus I get VAT so worked out to $165 POUNDS on the exchange rate. Only just over budget.

I cant wait!!!! They better fit. Hahaha

I ordered a wider calf size from brogini, and got them stretched an extra inch, but the cobblers said they could get about 2.5, so they can get quite a bit wider!

You'll love them! They're lovely, well made boots and they'll last you years and years. Well worth the ££'s blow out :biggrin3:
