My gelding keeps catching the front of his hind fetlock. He lives out 24/7 so although the ideal solution is to put boots on, I don't really want them on 24 hours a day
I have mentioned it to the farrier who said theres not a lot he can do as he's not obviously striking the inside of his leg with the opposite foot so i am wondering what else I could to.
It's too high up for over reach boots or a fetlock ring the only thing that goes down far enough are wrap/ medicine boots
I was thinking of putting his turnout chaps on over night - when it is cooler then his stretch and flex wraps on in the day as they're breathable, even though they're going to be trashed :-(
Does any one else suffer from this or have a solution I haven't thought of?
