Boots for use over shoes for turnout?

My horse needs heartbar shoes due to injury. She loves being out in the field but at the moment the field is muddy and she is loosing shoes weekly and yesterday got shoe put back on only for it come off less than 24 hours later! Does anyone know of boots that can be used for turnout over the top of shoes to help keep them on? Thanks
 
would OR not help? When one of ours was in heart bars she was always ridden and turned out in them - no lost shoes!
 
Sorry forgot to mention she already has over reach boots on. They aren't helping. The shoe is being sucked off in the mud. She is an appaloosa and has white hooves which aren't the best. She has hoof supplements already.
 
Very unlikely tbh, the mud holds the front foot a little too long so when the hind comes through it can catch on the shoe more easily. If the shoe or hoof wall is so weakly attached that mud does pull it off then you need to have a chat with your farrier.

We found good thick and deep OR boots were excellent, the flimsy rubber ones didn't help, but the woof wear kevlar ones were brilliant, actually seemed indestructible and washed up well!
 
I have Pariani overreach boots, which are good boots. Thick, quality rubber. Farrier I had doesn't want to do her anymore so inbetween farriers. The one I want, a remedial farrier who is well qualified, is away till late next week. Got a farrier who was visiting the yard to put the shoe back on yesterday and it has come off already. The field is muddy, but it's only likely to get worse with winter approaching. Can't leave her in all winter.

Yes, I could not possibly comment on vets thinking on shoeing, they are the professionals , but........ .Ok they are the professionals.
If horse is lame it is for a reason, shoe - ing may not be the answer, but it will be the answer by most vets and most farriers, did he mention "support the feet?" ha ha ha..........
Rockley Fam re-habilitate many horses which are at the pts stage, and most get back in to work, as far as I know they remove all shoes!

I can 2nd the recommendation for the woof wear Kevlar overreach boots. My previous boy had to have bar shoes on and he never lost one when he was turned out in these. They are extra long so cover heels and the shoe.

Well worth the money and can be hosed off or run through the washing machine with no trouble.
