So, I blew the shopping budget at Blenheim on Sunday and bought some Equitector long boots, how lovely are they? And they fit.
Interestingly the rumours about Equitector going out of business are apparently untrue, they are simply moving production to Northampton so the boots will continue to be British made - although in the transition they have been running the stocks down.

The only question now is what to do with my old boots which were a little small in the foot but very ample (16 1/2" wide) in the leg? Size 6, lovely condition

Fill them with bedding plants, stand whips or umbrellas in them? Answers on a post card......

I have the same question - have got a pair of Regent XW size 5 boots in VGC - I'm sure saddlers used to sell them on for you, but can't find one to do it now!

They're not going out of business? Fantastic, that's the best news I've had all day (i am sure its good for them as well!)! I was measured for a pair at Blenheim last year, but didn't buy and kept putting it off and putting it off....and then thought i'd missed my chance.
