boots for wide calfs

Moutain Horse do wide calves as do Ariat. I have the MH boots for general yard riding and I am very lucky to get the Ariat Grasmeres for Christmas! Yay!

I have welligogs rangers which are adjustable and love them - I could get my calves in their normal boot as well but preferred the ranger as it is a bit different ;)

OMGosh - thank you for posting this. I've had a look and I love them. I have been looking for a really nice pair of boots for ages and here they are. I have just ordered a pair. She is going to try and get them in the post today so I will get them tomorrow!!

Hope you like them - I love mine! Just one thing - when they come they have an insole in them that I didn't like, it is not obvious that it is an insole but they do come out. I got some gel insoles from boots to replace the ones they came with which I much prefer.

I got mine from Fuller Fillies and they are fab. I have a wide calf pair of nubuck mountain horse boots for sale as they are now too small for my calves.

They are more expensive but the Dubarry Wexford boots fit a wider calf and are very smart as well as practical. I wear mine to pop to town for lunch as well as walking the dog / getting about in the snow!!

We have about a foot of snow in the garden and they have proven very warm and practical :)

I have always had this problem and it has driven me nuts till this year when i discovered Wyre Valley Leather Eventing Boots i even have room to spare round the calves which is a first for me. They are so comfortable and would buy them again in a heartbeat, i've had mine 9 months and they are still as good as new and i wear them everyday! Got mine off eBay brand new for £80.00.
