Boots for wide legs!

I'm trying to find some mud fever boots/socks or pastern wraps, anything that will cover a wound just above the coronary band of my 15hand cob. She has chunky legs with and feet and I'm trying to find something to cover the area when she is out in a ŵet field. The wound has recovered pretty much but I can't leave it exposed because she has in the past gnawed it and damaged it badly and I'd like to keep it away from mud for a bit longer. I've tried poultice boots but they don't last and again straps don't fit well around her legs. Extra large mud boots such as premier equine and equichaps are too narrow.

I'd use an old plastic feed bag and duct tape and make a boot if it's just for turnout and while it's fully healing.
Always my go to for covering feet or lower leg Injuries while turned out.
Hope she heals up soon
