i boot up as the mud is so deep it helps prevent mud fever and also my mare is always falling about the field due to how slippy it is

I do for my TB, but not for my two arabs.

The Tb is very accident prone and the smallest cut will result in symptoms resembling septiceamia! Unfortunately I have to keep her separate as well.

I put yes and other because I don't as routine but if my horses are out with new horses/in a new place or if anything is likely to upset them a lot then I will. Just to play it safe!

I do sometimes, if I think there's a good chance he'll be looning round i.e. if he's going to move fields etc He often strikes into himself whilst turned out and has lots of injuries in the field which have cost me thousands and have scared him permanently

Nope I don't boot up Rock as have no need to - the only time hes ever worn boots is when he had an overeach that kept reopening when he galloped about so he wore overeach boots for a week or two til it healed.

i dont usually. The only time i would is if my horse was being turned out in a new place, or with a new horse for the first time. I did turn my horse out in over reach boots when she was wearing shoes, as she was well known for over reaching and ripping them off, but no need now as she doesn't wear shoes

Only when moving fields/introducing to new horse/been in for any length of time (boxrest) even then only stay on for half an hour until he settles down!!!

I have done when Henry injured himself about a year ago, although dont normally. One horse at our yard does as in his first week he managed to pull a fence line across the field and had to me on box rest for over a month! He also charges around a lot, hes quite nasty really.
