Borax not available, what do you use?

For thrush I used to spray on a borax solution, it took a few days to work, but it did work.

If borax is no longer available, what do people use?

My farrier recommends Osmonds Bactakil 55 but lots of other things suggested if you look back on recent posts on thrush.

borax is easy to get. You can buy the solid from ebay and make up your own solution. Its proper name is (di)sodium tetraborate.
