Border Collie losing hair!

My mums border collie is starting to lose her hair! She had puppies about 9 weeks ago and has been fine since but her hair is dropping out and the fur she has got is quite coarse.

She is fine in herself and is active, we have checked for fleas and mites and cant find anything.

She has been wormed recently but we cant think of anything else that it can be.

Any ideas?

What are you feeding her? She might need a bit of a boost/supplement after raising the litter, just sounds like a drop in condition to me, have you asked your vet?

Bitches loose their coat after a litter of pups. I had a litter of pups from my Border Collie earlier this year and she lost her coat when the pups were about 9 weeks old too, she's only just got her coat back now (pups will be 8 months old next week).

This was her in full coat when the pups were 4 weeks old

and this was her this summer, naked!

That sounds and looks just like our dog Oenoke!!

Did you do anything other than knitting a woolly jumper! change of diet? or any supplements that we can giver her?

We have got an appointment at the vets tomorrow so will ask them as well.
