Border Collie Needing A Home

A client has recently acquired a 2 year old BC who wouldn’t work the sheep. I’m walking him occasionally but can’t do every day as I did with her previous dog. She’s reluctant to walk him much herself as she’s too nervous.

The dog is amazing!!! Has a beautiful nature and could make an excellent fly ball or agility dog. He’s got good basic training from working, but is not house trained. I’d have him in a heartbeat if I could have second dog.

Agilitynet.com has a rescue section. Would be worth putting on there as people after a fly ball, agility, obedience collie use the site

A neighbour of ours always has a border collie, his previous one died earlier this year. He might be interested but I'm not sure - OH said he thought he'd seen him with a puppy. I can ask.

Words can’t describe how special I think this dog is, and what potential I think he has. I was very emotional walking him yesterday.

He is absolutely gorgeous. AM - Daisy is only tiny, and you could not let him on the bed, you would hardly notice he was there.

Great news. I haven't been able to catch the neighbour yet to ask. Fingers crossed.

Saw my neighbour today with his (gorgeous) puppy. Didn't mention this dog to him as he looked as if his hands were full enough of puppy. If the potential home falls through, I could try asking him.
