Border Terrier

I am looking for a young adult border terrier, don't mind whether it's a bitch or dog. Does anyone know of any breeders which may have an ex breeding dog in need of a new home or one that didn't make it to the show ring?

I have no particular desire to have a puppy because my partner and i do work, but the dog would have company most of the day.

Any ideas?

I don't know of any, but you could try posting in the Homes Offered section on the Dogpages forum www.dogpages.org.uk

Also, Many Tears take a LOT of ex-breeding dogs and bitches from the puppy farms. I don't think they have any Borders in at present though.

Try the breeder we got our 2 from, she often has dogs that have come back to her (usually from bad owners) as she would rather they came to her than be moved around. Here are her details

There is a rescue in Wales called Many Tears Rescue that have all kinds of ex breeding dogs.
They have a lot of Borders.

The Mayhew Animal Home in London have a Border cross boy at the moment who needs a home - they are a great rescue, we got our Doberman boy from them and he likes to chew our BT's ears gently then she bites him on the cheek....
