Bored horse!!

My friends horse is on box rest for the next four weeks. She has bought him a couple of "toys" to keep him busy and hung up a swede for him to chomp on. Has anyone got any other ideas to keep him busy? He has got a bulb wound due to having an argument with a barbed wire fence last week!!

my horse loves the horse ball which I put some treats in. It kept her entertained when she was off work

Bless her, It took her ages to work out how to get them out ...

Snack ball, likits, salt lick, maybe you could put a stall guard or a chain across his door?

Dont suppose you have any pet goats on the yard, they work a treat

Thanks 4 the suggestions. He has a salt lick. The treat ball had to be taken away as he was kicking it around the stable!! The wellie idea sounds good.... will give it a try. First I've heard of a Bulb wound as well but was told that's what the vet called it.
