OK, I am fed up with the constant drizzle and permanently waterlogged ground now!!! Roll on warm summer days and long light evenings so I can actually start riding properly again!!!

I was recently given a photo of Ozzy and I in a jumping clinic from when the weather was slightly more acceptable! Any CC would be appreciated - I think I am maybe a bit far forward and not giving enough with my hands???

And here is one from a HT - giving with hands a little bit more but leg swinging too far back and still going too far forwards???

Any feedback (on me or him) welcomed!!!!!!!!!!!

really nice. but i would agree too far forwards. it's quite hard to change that when you're so used to it and everything else feels unnatural so i would suggest the best way to make that happen is think about having more bend in your knees as that will bring you back into the saddle. lovely head position, i hate it when people are craning their neck to see if they'll clip it!

You both look great... he makes a crackin shape over the jump is picking up nicely with his front end...

What a lovely horse :D

Thanks :D I love him, and he has come on so much since I got him. I bought him to give me confidence in jumping again and he has definitely done that! My aim was to get around an 85cm course but he has a lot more scope than I ever imagined!
(but he is actually a pony lol)

Thank you. When the ground gets good enough to jump again I will ask my instructor to work with me to reduce the 'forwardness'. I never really noticed it before I got given that pic!
