Looking for a new horse for 13 yo daughter who coming off her 14.2. She is very into PC (on all teams, does camp etc) and would also like to BE, starting at BE80, but with a horse who is capable of taking her to BE100 in time. She also likes pure dressage - she does BYRDS training.
He (prefer a gelding tho wouldn't rule out a mare) needs to be between 6-10 years old, 15.1 - 16hh, safe to hack alone and in co, capable of a decent prelim test now as a minimum and potential to do more with some training. Jumping-wise he needs to be fine at 3ft as a minimum and genuine. A lack of experience xc is fine - although obviously we would prefer an established horse, but as long as he has had some XC exposure and is enjoys it, that could be ok. An established PC horse whose rider is going to uni would likely be the best fit.
She can manage forward going. She is a sensitive rider who has a lot of training so can cope with something a little enthusiastic or who needs a little tact on the flat. He does need to be rock solid in traffic and reliable to hack as she is at that age where she is just about ok to hack on her own or with friends of her own age, but I don't want to be pacing up and down on the yard till she comes back.
We do have a decent budget (i think) for this paragon, but does he exist? Needs to be South East or close by.
