Boredom Busters?

Hi Guys,

have any of you got any good ideas for homemade boredom busters? I dont want to fork out on anything as im sure there are plently of good ideas out there!

someone suggested to me apple bobbing, anyone done this for there horse? Although, would like to steer clear of treat toys as pony is a tad overweight as it is!

Turnips on a rope? usually takes them a while to get hold of them and the time spent chasing it means less time eating hay!

two litre pop bottle either fill with nuts, leave lid off and leave on floor or put small hole in side, low down and hang up, cheap plastic childs football, cut 50p sized hole and put nuts in (will go down but not flat), pilates gym ball in field or school. bury carrots in banks in stable if you don't mind the horse messing the banks up. poke bits of carrot through hols of full haynet.
