A friend has been told that the area in which she grazes her horse is low in boron and that she should supplement. I have never heard of this, has anyone else? I have tried searching for info, but not really come up with much!

Thanks!

Speaking with my 'professional' hat on now! Boron is utilised by the body in order to maintain bone density and structure. The amount you would be looking at as an average is between 10 and 20 mg/kg, but your friend should be able to get her soils tested to measure this. PM me if you need anymore info or want to get the soil tested.
