Borzoi - lost west midlands

Please anyone in the West Midlands, and by now possibly beyond if someone has picked her up and taken her. Please look out for a 1 year old borzoi bitch (red with white bib and legs) who got out yesterday 4th April. She will most likely be easily frightened and wary of strangers. If you do see her and get close the best approach is to crouch down low, even kneel and turn your head away in order for her to come close to you. If you do see her and cannot get near please telephone the number on the lost dog post on the website urgently.

good luck on getting her back-I was reminiscing to the OH recently about the Borzois I knew in the 80s as I realised I hadnt seen any about for years, lovely dogs.

There are a few of us on here who have 'lost' dogs with no news whatsoever. Mine went missing 6 years ago now.

A poster to the Travellers Liaison officers in the surrounding counties and police forces would not go amiss along with alerting the county council, police and district councils.

I so hope they have good news soon.

I'm so sorry to hear she's still missing T. Perhaps it may be worth scouring the national websites of Dogs for sale (Gumtree, Preloved etc) to see if she appears and perhaps saving a Borzoi search to receive all notifications when any come up for sale, in any area.

Being an unusual breed, I wonder if contacting all known KC registered breeders in the UK might help to spread the message too.

I really hope you hear some good news very soon.
