Wow, very beautiful dog! Never even heard of the breed? What is it a hound? Looks like a greyhound/lurcher x lassie dog? Very unusual!

Yes they are a lovely breed - we were palnning on breeding from our other one, but when we went to see the stud dog, I chickened out a bought a puppy instead!!

Yes they are a Russian wolfhound - just a long haired greyhound really!!
I used to have Rotties too, they are a lovely breed and have had a lot of unwarranted bad publicity.

gorgeous dog! so quick and light! We have an Irish Wolfhound....Built like a tank in comparrisson!!!!! Ours has a Borzoi 'friend' but can never get close enough to sniff her bottie as she just runs round and round like a streak of light!

She's a borzoi.....you should definitely say 'princess'!
(Or 'grand duchess', or 'your imperial highness', anything deeply regal really!)

Your puppy is looking lovely. Her sister went to her first show today and won 1st prize in Any Variety Puppy - quite an achievement for a 6 month old pup. Two of her brothers go to their first show this week.
We've another litter of puppies now but they are very different to the litter your pup came from. They will look more like your other borzoi. There are some still available because a lot of borzoi puppies were born this year, so we are getting very busy here.
I had trouble with the computer and it crashed, losing all my email addresses amongst other things, so feel free to email me with updates.
