Hello!
im a new horse owner and have stumbled upon many problems, one of which... mane and shoulder rubbing!
i have a 15.1/15.2 dun lightweight cob and when i bought her about 5 months ago she was hogged. i decided to grow her a mane and it was looking really lovely... until half of it got rubbed off! i noticed today that she had rubbed her shoulders as well, and have been looking for bibs but it seems you can either get one to stop shoulder rubbing or to stop mane rubbing, apart from the bossys bibs mane guard which says it does both. it seems perfect, i'm just slightly worried if its worth the 60 something pounds that it costs?! or are there any other bibs that help to protect both mane and shoulder rubbing at a slightly kinder price that would fit a broad shouldered cob?
any help would be really appreciated,
thanks a lot!

Hello Sophie
We bought one for our mare it's the bossy bibs mane and shoulder guard great for shoulda rubbish for manes. To be honest the only thing that really works is going without a neck but as our mare is a Showjumper that is just not possible my tip save your money just buy a shoulder guard. :-)

I agree - the shoulder bibs are fabulous but the only way to keep my mare's mane intact is to not use neck covers or combo rugs.
