Well, have been looking for a saddle for The Sunbeam for months and have just bought a GFS Haffie/Cob saddle. Doesn't bridge, rub, pinch, squeeze, slide, slither, droop. And looks a million dollars too. ALSO, this is the same Sunbeam who tragically lost an eye over a year ago. Moving him to his (fabuloso) new yard, he badly cut his eye socket in the box coz of course he couldn't see anything onhis blind side. Have been working with a brilliant and committed local harness maker who has just finished his Phantom of the Opera eye protector for him. Layers and layers of padding with a smart black leather covering that clips onto his headcollar and short of deliberately smacking him in the head with a baseball bat, will keep his face safe when we travel to our FIRST EVER baby dressage comp in October. SOOOOO pleased for him. My only complaint is that the harness lady wouldn't make it in pink leather or put some bling on it!!! Happy, happy bunny for Sunny today.
