Bought breeches - so are these right for me?

To be honest, I would need to see a picture before and after to be able to make a sound and sensible judgement.

So if you could post a 'without' the breeches picture, a side on 'with' the breeches, and probably jeans and chaps 'from behind' picture

You can thank me later for my informed opinion. Cheers.

Piebaldsparkle, our farrier used to have the same thought about the chaps. He used to come over all peculiar just picturing it. We had to revive him with coffee and choccy bickies.

Well, I think you are all being really really mean!..................Cos I am at work and cant see the pictures!!!!!!:D

Very smart!

Wouldn't wear the white tshirt though- it'll just get dirty!

But they look very decent on you and I would say you bought a good size / brand.

Men in breeches normally worry me but LOOKING GOOD my friend!!

I agree with the above.... maybe as its warm ditch the shirt all together;) and post more pictures .... :p

I can see a fund raising 'Men in breeches' calendar arising, (like the calendar girls thing), from waist or neck down!

I have to say that I wish my legs looked that good in my Jodhpurs!!

The worst feature of the OP's pictures is that wedding ring.

However, I think we need some more pictures of other men in breeches on this thread just so that we have some sort of standard to judge the OP's pictures against. :D Men in breeches, if you would like to, please add your photos below.

for a 'normal' man you look very good in them (by that I mean not someone in a catalogue!) - most regular horse riding guys look amusing in breeches but you pull it off very well

you definitely have no reason not to wear them with pride!

Yes, looks good to my old eyes, tho i would swap the white tee-shirt for a different colour. Think it might be too distracting for the other riders in your ride at the school.

Fella being another male rider that wears Breeches to the yard its no drama sure a few folk look but sod em i went from trying a horse last weekend in my Breeches short boots and chaps and a rash vest straight to the pub with my OH sure as hell lots of folk looked at me but i just dont care :) even sat in the beer garden out front there was no hiding :p

my OH got me onto Breeches after another pair of Jods i was using was to use her words showing a little too much cockage........ mind none of the women on the yard ever complained......

'scuse me whilst I roll my tongue away *shamelessy oggles a married man* Seajays, god gave you a fine figure... and I approve of the attire that shows it off.;);)

Reminds me of when my ex insisted on buying some jods. He emerged from the changing room resplendent in a beige pair. It all looked a bit... anatomical... The sales lady and I exchanged a look and she said "Lovely fit. Maybe try a black pair..."
Not as bad as cycling gear though.
