Bought some new fillers, disappointed. Need your thoughts please!

Hi, I bought a similar pair of fillers (although feet were in the normal place) off the same seller through eBay. Initially thought they were ok value for money and left positive feedback. A couple of days later the sun came out, it was by no means hot as it was march but all the fillers warped, wouldn't stand up and the feet wouldn't fit. I wouldn't buy them again.

Thanks JJ. I think that, along with what Tarrsteps said (& please no need to apologize TS!) has made my mind up!

Ah, now to go & have a fight on ebay .......;)

Poor you. I just emailed the same company asking for some, think ill be sending another email saying no thank you. I wouldn't be happy with those :(

I wonder if the business partner that left was the horsey side of the business, and the other side saw no reason why feet couldn't be in the middle of the filler!!

Good luck with the refund OP, let us know how you get on.

Thought I'd do a little update so as to warn other people!

I contacted the seller who agreed to refund me full costs + the amount it would cost me to send them back. So, I sent them back & heard nothing for a week or so. I message the seller to check they had received them & was told they had but no longer had access to PayPal so would send me a cheque.

Sadly no cheque arrived so I started a dispute with ebay :( It was escalated last Friday when I had to provide the tracking details for the fillers being returned (which they were according to the tracking info) & haven't heard a thing since. I can't find the sellers fb page or website anymore so my last hope is that ebay refund me but even if they do they won't refund the cost of me returning them so at best ill be out of pocket by £6.

Fed up. All I wanted to do was to provide a stuggling club with some nice new fillers :(

Thank you for the update, that's rubbish :(

FWIW anytime I have raised a dispute with ebay I have always received a refund, albeit having lost out on the postage. Hope you get your money soon.

I did get a refund through another dispute for an item that just didn't show up, but I'm worried about this one. It just says on the details that its waiting to be returned even though the tracking info clearly states it has been returned :( its said the same thing since last Friday now.

Stamp your feet at ebay (if you paid by Paypal let them know as well) and ask them to investigate. They do and they will - I escalated mine to the UK CEO and got a refund (eventually).

Don't worry paypal will sort it, even if it takes a while. I had problems with a saddle bought off ebay. I returned it for a refund but they claimed I hadn't sent it back. Even more worryingly the tracking number on my receipt from the post office was showing as invalid!! In the end it got sorted and I got my money back fine.

I am slightly worried though regarding this company if it's who I think it is. I contacted them with an order for jumps in March 2012. I spoke to them on numerous occasions and they had assured me they were nearly ready every time. I have since given up and taken my business elsewhere - luckily I hadn't paid a deposit. A friend had exactly the same problem too.

Lucky escape then Daveismycat (great name btw :) )

I'd heard good things about them before I ordered, seems they had some kind of domestic after my order went in which has caused all the hassle :(

I did go to tell PayPal but as I had already opened an ebay dispute it wouldn't let me do anything. Keeping my fingers crossed xx
