We caught Saffy today :D

We managed to herd her into the stable with some her breakfast and she was a bit stressed to start with but she soon worked out that she could see Minnie through the grill.

Once she'd settled I went out, walked up to her sideways, let her sniff my hand then she let me scratch her shoulder, work up her neck and clip the leadrein on so I swapped her headcollar and we had a good cuddle and scratch. She's lovely and friendly once you actually have hold of her :D

I led her back out and that needs work! she followed Minnie then realised she was next to me and tried to canter off, I kept hold so she froze. We had that all the way up the hill to the big field but that will come with time :D

I'm really chuffed :D

And a little crappy photo to prove it

She is very cute!! How old is she? I'm sure once she knows that coming in means some food and a cuddle she'll improve :)

She looks like such a sweetie and I worked in a simiilar way with F.
F now follows me around and sticks to me like glue. I'm sure it won't be long before she wants to be with you.

Yeah good old fashioned stuff. I believe they have their own website but I saw it advertised in H&H a while back. You spray a tiny amount on your hands and forehead (I know I know) and it relaxes the horse. It really does work as my two trakehner yearlings were un touched last August and wild, now they will do anything are rugged, seen farrier and vet and walked in hand to see the road. I am going to use it when we back in 2 years time. It comes in a small bottle but well worth the money, no I am not anything to do with the company before you ask!
