Bounce Jumps in SJ?

Am i right in thinking there arent usually any bounces in BSJA and International show jumping competitions? Or am i having a very dizzy forgetful moment?!

There is or used to be a bounce in Speed Horse of the Year Class, might also be one the Hickstead Speed Derby, depending on the angle you take the white rails.

oh yeah!! totally forgot about hickstead...:) but at regular bsja they dont have bounces lol xx

well, if they LEAP over the first element, they land right in the lap of part B... and if they land close to part A, they cant take off, but 1 stride will put them too deep. So yeah, it is dangerous (i think)

I actually think a bounce could be used in classes, but would need to be significantly lower in high classes, i.e 1.10+ to allow horses to actually do it.
