Tills had her first scan today, 19 days after being AI'd.
She is PREGNANT!!!!!

Bless my girl, she's an 18year old maiden and has taken first time, despite being AI'd and retaining loads of fluid.
I had a sneaking suspicion as she's been really cuddly the last week or so, which is something the my 'emotionless' mare has never been

I'm trying not to get too excited yet as I know it's early days.... but I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!

Masterbronze, maybe one day you will! We decided to breed from Tills as her competitive career had ended, and judging by her new cuddly persona she should settle into life as a mum very easily!

Zigzag, she's a 3/4 TB 1/4 QH Polo/Polocrosse mare. Daddy is Welton Adonis, a 15/16th TB, I have some nice photos/vids of him, but can't get them off the camera!
The little one will be to keep, and will do a bit of everything, I have no delusions of grandeur!!

Bounty that's great news - is that a recent photo of Tils? She looks much better now she's back at home with her mum! xx
 
It's a couple of weeks old, so fairly recent! She's looking SO good at the moment, I have to pinch myself to remind myself that she really is mine, all mine!

Just picked her up from the stud (It's only 10mins down the road so she went there to be scanned) and they can't believe that she took first time.
Have things picked up for your parents at all? Last time I spoke to your Mum she and your Dad were having a pretty horrendous time.

Bl**dy stubborn ginger thing is STILL playing hard to get. I think that the swab cock up meant we just missed her in season when I took her over, so fingers crossed she *should* be back in this weekend...

I wanted them to go to stud etc at the same time so that we could count down together, so I'm not impressed with Asti either!!
