Well after all my posts about the potential share last week and how it might not be able to go ahead it all worked out really well and i now have 2 share horses

The lovely owner brought it down to a price which i could afford and so i pay 20 a week and get to ride either of the gorgeous arabs whenever i want! I went up on sunday to meet them and had a quick go on each in the arena. The mare is really fizzy and giddy but well behaved, she's bursting with life despite being 26! The gelding (who was a stallion until 7 months ago :/ ) was a bit less sharp and responsive but still beautifully schooled and he is just soo floaty and graceful, whereas the mare is bouncy and fun

I can see myself falling for them both big time.

Went on a little ride up the lane on the mare yesterday, she's so full of character, and rode out for about an hour or so on the gelding today who i have fallen in love with already.

The owner is such a lovely person and really easy to get on with, have spent the last 3 hours sat in her house chatting about all sorts. Hopefully we could be really good friends, she's just such a nice person.

Other people on her little yard are lovely too, going out on a 3 hour hack tomorrow with a girl who worked there for a while, which should be great. The hacking is wonderful, loads of tracks, fields, bridle paths and even some gallops about 40 min away which i can't wait to get on to!

So yeyyy! Just wanted to let you all know after my whinging that it worked out so well in the end! And to warn you all of the many excited posts and piccys which are sure to follow

Good of you to let me know you weren't interested in coming to see mine before you let the whole forum know

Glad you're sorted and I hope your nerves don't get the better of you

Sorry quirky, was just a bit excited and only just got to the laptop after the weekend. I did say it was a big 'if' this didn't work out and that it would be difficult with it being too far away from home for me to come when i wasn't at uni. Have PM'd you....

Well as you know, I was reticent about sharing her anyway. I offered more for you than me.

I shared a diiferent horse for the last 2 months of my pregnancy and it was the worst thing I ever did, from finding somebody suitable and then the actual share. I vowed never to do it again ..... I have told my OH to punch me if I ever think of offering her as a share again

I really appreciate the offer, as i said in our pms last week, but i have to pick what's best for me really at the moment while i'm at uni and i was always trying to make the current one work first, as i made blatantly clear (or so i thought).

As i said, i'm sorry i let my excitement get the better of me and didn't pm you first. Don't worry you've thoroughly brought me back down now though.
