I had this problem where a physio kept treating my horse after vet referral, but we were never referred back to the vet when the probelm kept recurring (was supposedly the saddle). Full workup by the vet discovered an underlying ligament strain, this was treated for this injury specifically by same physio and hes never had a problem since.
