.

Help !

Oh yes and calmers do not work .

Even tried some rescue remedy

Anyway you could put her out - in a fenced off area roughly the size of a large stable? On decent grass if possible so she's stuffing her face rather than looking for mischief?

Have you tried a turnip hanging from the stable roof?? Not tried it personally but apparently its a good boredom breaker.

I agree with the fenced of paddock though. If its 12x12 I doubt she could trot up to it, so just make it high. Having had a horse on box-rest I can honestly say letting her into her own little paddock did wonders for her mental health.

Hope she gets better soon, good luck.

Mine was on box rest at 3 - she used to squish into one corner and buck over to the other corner

Luckily she healed much faster than the vet expected so she was able to go out a month early, not sure what we would have done otherwise

Treat balls are always good - make sure you get a tough one as my horse but through hers

Also - put one haynet inside another. I hate using haynets but have resorted to this more than once

She has a treat ball and does love it .... Haynets hmmm not a good idea with her .... She loves to untie things .... also likes to get her legs into one .... I know if its up high enough she may not obviously be able to BUT with this smarty arse she would have it down in a matter of minutes

I just couldn't settle with leaving a haynet in with her as I KNOW she would be up to all sorts

She really is a nightmare to deal with when it comes to amusing her , Too smart for her own good at times
