Hi SU - she's tons better though still on restricted turnout. Not necessarily out of the woods yet as occasionally when she's standing in her stable and the light is just so, you can IMAGINE that you saw a little quiver. But compared with when she was at the height of it and everyone including the vets thought she wasn't going to make it through the night, it's a miracle. The diagnosis is still neurological trauma/fit and the vet's decision to give a steroid injection, as risky as that was, seems to have done the trick. I think the next few days will be critical, as the steroid wears off. So fingers crossed. Llwyncwn says she is looking and acting her old self. Her eyes have lost that panic stricken look and she's eating well. I hope Helen will see this and add an Owners Update lol coz my only contribution was just to stand on the sidelines and tell Helen that she was NOT allowed to cry round Bonnie coz Bon-Bon needed her strength and calmness and healing vibes.
You there H??? Bonnie update? Thanks for asking SU xxx
Pleased things are a lot better. It's such a frightening thing to have to go through, and, from personal experience, will take a while to stop worrying about.
Offer still stands - if you need any further info, either of you, don't hesitate to PM me
