Posted in here as I know most of you know Barb from her helpful posts ... (also in NL)

Barb was taken by ambulance to A&E this lunchtime after a nasty fall off Sunny on the road after he decided he wanted to race and put in a couple of bucks. Her hat tipped forward and she landed on the back of her head. Air ambulance came too! There was alot of blood and I had to strip off in order to make a pressure pad to stop the blood.

Just got back from hospital, although she is in a treatment room and has been given morphine, doctor still hasnt seen her yet. Hubby is there and looking after her.

Dont know if they will keep her in for concussion or send her home. Her OH will ring me later and let me know what is happening.

Bestist HHO vibes for Box_of_Frogs would be greatly appreciated.

Thats such bad news....do send her huge hugs from me....she has been there on a couple of occasions with my problems...nosebleeds, cancer with my horses etc. Speedy recovery B xxxx

Please pass on hugs & healing vibes from me, accident sounds horrible, hope she is ok. B-o-F held my hand electronically for several months last year too!

On no that's awful. She has been so kind to me with regards to my eye questions. I do hope she is better soon. I had severe concussion once and it can take months to get back to any sense of normality, tell her not to ride for a few days, it really does affect you in funny ways and I was exhausted for months afterwards.
