Today is such a full day of racing that I thought it deserved its own thread!

Firstly good luck to any RC Syndicate owners who have Wendigo in the Kauto Star (G1) at Kempton today! 🤞🏻 I think there is definitely a couple of you on HHO?

I’m looking forward to the return of Sir Gino in the Christmas Hurdle, whose goes up against the ever consistent Golden Ace.

I’m hoping Djelo can finally get a Grade 1 in the King George but it’ll be a tough assignment going up against Mullins with Fact To File and Gaelic Warrior. Also hoping for a good race from 6 year Jango Baie.

Up (in relation to me!) at Aintree Mydaddypaddy is hoping to extend his unbeaten run in the Fornby Novices Hurdle (G1).

Over in Ireland is the Racing Post Novices Chase (G1) with Romeo Coolio, Salvator Mundi and July Flower among the entries.

Plus racing from Wincanton, Wetherby, Market Rasen, Fontwell, Sedgefield.

Free to air races today

Excellent summary. We’re off to Kempton. First time for several years and some cracking horses running.

I should have had a runner at Wincanton but he didn’t eat up declarations morning so wasn’t declared. So instead I’ve taken the dogs for a good walk. Will vaguely waft the hoover around then take to the sofa. Heaven!

What more do you need?
Sympathies for everyone engaging with family today, who would prefer not to be!
OH has gone hunting and Small Boy and his homeless friend have set off to the moor for a walk.

I have a shared in Wendigo and was pleased with him today,I can't wait to see him at Cheltenham if the ground is a bit softer as he'll plug on up the hill. Can't moan at being beaten by such a performance today, what a star. Him and Sir Gino were a pleasure to watch.

I also have a shared in Maximilian who I thought had a 'normal' run coming up but he's been entered for NYD at Cheltenham which is also very exciting though seems a leap for a horse that's only just come back after a lay off.
