Whats every one doing on boxing day?

There is a boxing day hunt on here but both myself and Mr Levi are not ready for that!

Thinking we shall have a quiet little plod down the old disused rail way line (all track been remove years ago)
that is providing it doesn't lash it down!!

We are taking the horses to the beach though, Saturday or Sunday, whichever day looks the best weather-wise...

i cook a meal for my loony , hermit neighbour who creeps round the woods in top to toe camouflage and a night site, each year i pray that he has finally plumbed in his washing machine but i suspect i shall cook dinner with the smell of old wool and joss sticks wafting over me. ho ho hum hum!

No riding for me as for the first time in nearly 20 years we are going away for Xmas.

Had had fond daydreams of going to the Boxing Day meet but last week I re-ruptured my cruciate ligament so no riding for a while Boxing day dog walk with my crutch instead!

Away seeing family. Will be riding on New Year's Day, though - a friend and I will be boxing to a lovely forest ride!

Looks like I might not get my Christmas or Boxing day ride again this yr - horse lame due to farrier mistake. Gutted, really not been my month. If Santa could bring me some good luck it would be much as appreciated....

Doubtful I'll ride on Boxing Day, too many others things to do and Tinner had his shoes off for a couple of months on Monday. Sometimes you just can't fit everything in!

We'll be taking our boys our for a hack round the village on Boxing Day. Might go to the beach on New Years' Day with the rest of the yard.

This is the first year that my sister and I have had both our horses in the same place at Christmas so it's quite exciting!

Ummming and ahhhing about going up to the Boxing Day meet, just for the port and atmosphere, when the hunt leaves we will have a quiet hack then head home, maybe

We are going to hack out with ponies prepped fit to show, and wearing hacking jackets, shirts, ties, cream jods and boots polished to dazzling point.... just for the fun of it.

Visiting both sets parents boxing day - doing horses am and pm and also doing neighbours pm - still a few more weeks of yard rest for dex so no riding. Offered to do neighbours horses Xmas day but they declined as they like to see them on Xmas day.
