boyfriend had first lesson today!

after watching the badminton cross country

OH decided that he wanted to start lessons - rode a bit as a kid and sat on Ty a few times.

have to say he did really well - was doing a great rising trot at the end of the lesson.....afterwards he booked a block of 10

so, we'll see whether he sticks to it or not......

That's great - I've been trying to persuade my OH to take some lessons, but no luck yet!

lol! he quite likes being around my two so I kind of challenged him and he picked up the phone and booked it! Been with him for over a year though so it's taken a while.....

That's good to hear! My OH is convinced that riding is not that hard and is always laughing at me when I'm aching after a lesson. He and his family went camping on the Lake District and booked themselves a riding lesson/hack. There weren't any beginner spaces left, so they booked themselves onto an advance lesson instead!

None of them have ever sat on a horse before and I'm surprised they didn't even fall off when their horses were galloping along fields!

I'm still trying to persuade him to book a proper lesson and see if he can manage to get a horse to do 20 metre circles for him
