Sorry to be breedist! but to date the few I've come across have been predictably unpredictable

Me to...the breed normally refered to as HUMANS

they seems to be the most common breed with the worst problems

Do u have any personal experience of them?
To be honest we never go through breed rescues...most we have been in contact with seem to turf them out un-neutered and at a pretty high price....our donation fees are the same no matter what dog is adopted..be it pedigree or x breed and all bar non are neutered.

My childhood GSD was a christmas pressie

We had been looking for a dog for a long time, she was the right dog and just came along then.
Was FAB Christmas morning

But then,for every home like us who happen to find the right dog at that time of year there are 50 that think "awww,cute pup...will make the kids smile" untill new year

No doubt I will have a January post showing all of the canine christmas disposables

We do let adult dogs go still on rare occasion...just not the puppies.

Well, I diddnt buy her I was 7!
And "conviscated" would be a more apropriate word....oldest brother pinned owner up against a wall and made him sign something saying he was giving her to us.
Poor girl was covered in cuts,had been kicked the sh1t out of

Old owner was stupid enough to come around and ask for her back a few weeks later.....only once mind

Although given the state of her I think brother was rather restrained......if I came across one in her state now I think the owner would end up looking like he had gone 10 rounds with Tyson

I dont mind taking the blame, for the good owners at least

Animals can be fab pressies IF you wanted one anyway(properly wanted one, not "awww look cute" want) and the litter is born at that time of year.

Anyway, she was more hten worth the rehab time

Rubbish pic of her with husband(another rescue,god knows how many homes,lovely dog so no idear why but he was frightened of everything

) and their babies(all homed within family and had long happy lives).
That was the only trouble with her being unexpected....hubbie had bits off 2 weeks later.....wasnt quite fast enough though
