Bradroon Bits - Anyone any info?

A bradoon is the snaffle used with a double bridle. I relplaced my sprenger training bit (snaffle) with a bradoon because he was leaning on the sprenger training (thick bars). The bradoon has much thinner bars (well the one I have does) so it has helped to get my horse off the hand.

I ride most of my horses in bradoon bits, they can have small or large rings but tend to have thinner bars,
This seems to be much better for horses that have 'fleshy' mouths. Many of the warmbloods, German and Dutch seem to have this type of mouth conformation along with thick tongues. I think this is why they find the thinner mouthpiece more comfortable.
I Use KK and NS bits. The NS bits beins just as good but less money!!
