Thinking of camping at Bramham this year as we didn't get to Badminton.

Looking at the website, 2 people for Sat and Sun is £110, and it seems that it's the same on the gate so to speak...so is it unlike Badminton/Burghley where they sell out quickly? Can you just rock up on the Saturday morning and pay to camp?

Also, OH used to do this alot in the 'old days' lol, and said he always used to go to the XC party on Sat night....does this still happen, any other entertainment?

Anyone from here going?

I think you would have to pre-book for camping but as I live locally i have never done it but I don't think you could just turn up no. I could be wrong. As for the parties, I am not sure they are open for campers there unless they have their own 'do'? The XC party is normally for the grooms etc on the saturday night and a general wind down evening. I have been but only cos a friend lived on site but as far as I know it was only a few locals who 'knew' people and the competitors, their families and grooms. Again though i could be wrong as it's not like anyone there asks who you are if you stroll along to the bar!!! Lol

I would double check with their ticket office re the camping thing though as I wouldn't like to say either way really with how they run it. They have got a bit stricter the last few years, it's not like it used to be when you could sneak in for free!!! hehehe.

I'm off too. Not cmping though. Competing on Thursday with my rising 2 yr old. Have entered him in the Event horse Breeding and youngstock. Then on saturday i'm fence judging with a friend. Hoping weather is going to be good!!
