Just wondering your thoughts - I go every year to Bramham as its about the only 3* in England within reasonable driving distance from Fife - Scotland. And this year I have noticed that they are charging £5 per car each day with the exception of those who buy tickets in advance. Now I normally dont buy the tickets in advance as its £1 admin fee (not a lot I know but better in my pocket) but shall do this year as I can then receive a car pass free - £1 admin fee!!!

Now it does infurate me that you pay to get in and now they are charging for parking in a field that is already there. Surely the cost should be included in the entry fee. Blair Castle has never charged for parking unlike Badminton etc where you can pay about £10 per day !!!

It is just plain greed in my opinion to charge such exhorbant prices (especially Badminton etc )

What are your thoughts.

This is one of the reasons we dont venture to Badders, Burghley etc....

huff rant rant

Sorry

it is annoying but thankyou for that info, i usually pay on the gate but this year I shall be pre booking (hope theres time left!). Fair enough I understand it encourages car sharing or other means of transport but its not exactly as if you can get to bramham any other way than driving!

You can book up untill 25th May - although I havent been able to so far and no-one today answering the phone! I have a electron card and not sure if thats the problem!

Yes £5 isn't a lot but when you have afamily of 4 going it does add on to the expense of the day!
The fields are already there!!

I just feel that these locations are very in-accessible without a car and as you pay per person to get in they are being greedy with the car parking charges.........
