Bramham stallion parade?

I went. There were some nice boys. One that I would have thought would have been better as a gelding and one had to be led as well as ridden from the box park to the collecting ring. Most were perfect gentlemen and two that I now would like to use on my mare.

It was a welcome addition to the Bramham schedule and there were some very nice boys indeed. Some of the studs even handed out stud cards which i thought was a nice touch although it would have been better if they all could have done so. Would have been nice too to see the Stallions jump. But they were lovely to see especially as i am considering breeding from my mare in the future.

That was the one that was led in the parade. The other one is an 11 year old and was led as it was ridden from the box park to the collecting ring. When first ridden in the collecting ring it was doing a pony only just under control trot and circles and the others were having to move out of its way.
I missed most of its true parade bit as I find it more instructive watching the horses when they are not being shown off to their best advantage.

I am not naming the one who was a bit over keen as it has caused enough controversy on this forum in the past.
One I want to watch in the next few years is Hollins Hall.
Uptons Deli Circus is on my short list for next year as I think that he would complement my mare.
The only six year old was very disappointing.

Everyone who has seen little old Deli Circus at these parades has absolutely loved him!!! He has a really good way about him that everyone loves and is just in general a lovely boy!

Interested to hear that you like Hollins Hall as I have heard mixed reports on him after he failed his grading. I do like the look of him tho.

Just found a list of all the stallions paraded:
Chilli Morning (also competing in the CCI***)
Classic Primitive
Forinth
Future Illusion
Grafenstolz
Hollins Hall
Jazz Time III
Jigilo (also competing in the CCI***)
King Of The Hill II
On Air (also competing in the CCI***)
Primitive Faerie Tale
Sir Suave
Springfield Symphony
Tullibards Romeo
Up With The Lark
Uptons Deli Circus
Washington Postman

Never heard of Forinth and Sir Suave before...

As the parade was only on the flat I have no idea what any of the horses jumping technique was like. I did have a wander around the box park beforehand and found several of the boys alongside their boxes. The owners enthusiasm for them was obvious. UDC looked nice but really came to life when moving . One or two which looked promising when stood by the boxes did not do anything for me when under saddle and moving.

Forinth is a 10yo Hannoverian, in his first full season eventing. Had a win at Novice level, and a couple of placings too.

UDC is stunning

Throws some very talented ponies... the "Lit up" one was one that has previously been discussed in great detail before...

I also thought Sir Suave looked very impressive, did anyone get a stud card? as the pic of him jumping was mega! Hes definitely one to watch. It was a shame Revolution was not there as I am very interested to see him. I did however see one of his offspring win the yearling class at Bramham and it had fantastic movement! As did one of his two year olds that was 4th. I was disappointed with the movement of Hollins Hall I have to say, it didnt wow me like I thought it might.

i thought i arrived just as the one you are describing ie the" lit up" one was being ridden round, am i wrong and it wasnt him i was looking at. Which was the dark bay then with a very expressive trot if it wasnt the one im thinking of it must have been hollins hall am i right?

I recognise (I think) some of these, but is there any way of telling which stallions are which? The photos don't seem to be labelled at all, but perhaps I've missed the descriptions somewhere.
